THE TECHNICAL DIFFERENCE
120 °C instead of 200 °C
A standard straightener crushes the strand between two plates that heat up to 200 °C. The cuticle opens, the water escapes all at once, and the fiber weakens with every pass. That's what causes split ends and breakage.
